Boxin is a Polish KoGaMa Player who joined KoGaMa in late 2014. He is known for being a former Senior Moderator on the Official KoGaMa Discord Server, Polish news Translator, HotW Committee member and KoGaMa Wiki Admin.
History[]
Boxin joined KoGaMa in late 2014 between september and november. He found KoGaMa on a website called gry.pl while playing games in school. He used to play KoGaMa from time to time, however he didn't create any account for a long time, therefore he played as non-registered user.
He created his first account in KoGaMa alongside his brother when they got their first computer. On 10th june they created account called boxin (today this is his alt account). They played for a while but then they forgot the password which led to creation of multiple accounts. This changed in late november when on 22th november Boxin created an account called boxin youtube as he planned to create KoGaMa related content on YouTube. Unfortunately he lost his account a month later.
These events led to creation of his actual account called boxinek_ (today known as Boxin. ) on 11th april 2018. Then Boxin started to create KoGaMa related content, his first KoGaMa related video on YouTube has been posted on 17th july 2018 gaining 1000 views before Boxin made this video private. He came back to creating content 2 months later and became more known. He reached 100 subscribers in december and continued growing up to 300 subscribers in late 2019 when he decided to change his content. His last KoGaMa related video has been posted on 7th february 2020. Soon after this, he made all his KoGaMa videos non-public. He posted a new KoGaMa video on 2nd april 2021 but today it is non-public as well.
In late 2021, Boxin joined Official KoGaMa Discord Server again and soon after he started to help people from time to time. In 2022 he got a creativity 2nd place in december Creator Spotlight. In february 2023 he became a junior moderator on the Official KoGaMa Discord Server, two weeks later he has been promoted to a moderator both on discord and KoGaMa forums. He also tried to create KoGaMa related content on his second channel but eventually stopped it. In march he placed 1th place in the Vehicle Energy contest alongside Grumpy and L.R.W.. In may Boxin translated his first text and became a Polish news translator. He also won the Model of The Week in this month. In june he joined the HotW Committee. In august he won Avatar of The Week and at the end of august Boxin has been promoted to senior moderator on the Official KoGaMa Discord Server and forums, and he became a KoGaMa Wiki admin. In september Boxin won Model of The Week 2. In october Boxin won 3rd place alongside Zoni321 and Jaro 3 in the Melee Weapon Customization Contest, and 2nd place in the Halloween Avatar Contest 2023. Because of this, he's third user in KoGaMa WWW server history to achieve every contest place after _Mr.e_ and 11Net11. He got the Video of The Week for contributing to the PW 5: Tears of the Fallen movie project. Boxin became a KoGaFriend by the end of april 2024.
Boxin left the moderation team, translators team and HotW Committee on 19th june of 2024. Despite this, he's still contributing to the community and helping new moderators.
Trivia[]
- Nickname Boxin has been created by his brother when they created their first account, this nickname was most likely supposed to sound cool as it is related to boxing.
- Back in december 2018, Boxin bought Novice of Frost Festival alongside with Member of Frost Festival but due to a bug, he didn't get the Novice of Frost Festival badge. He's been given the badge 5 years later.
- Boxin's first avatar is always a King of Fire, this is also his favorite starter avatar.
- He's one of two people to get the Community Badge after 2021 alongside SuspiciousCatnip.
- Boxin left the moderation team on June 19 2024 , with his last words:
Hey everyone, there’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while now, so I’ll get straight to the point — I’ve decided to leave the moderation team. It was a tough decision, but I’m not satisfied with the opportunities I have here. I can’t fulfill my ambitions and ideas, even though I really want to. Because of that, my motivation has disappeared. Moderating no longer makes me happy. I’m disappointed by many things I’ve seen here, so I decided to step down from the squad. It has been a great experience, something I never thought I would have. I always wanted to contribute to this community, and I’m glad I got the chance. I believe my efforts weren’t in vain and that they had at least some impact on the community. It’s been a bittersweet journey that I truly appreciated. This autumn will mark 10 years since I joined this game, and I feel like it’s time to move on. At the same time, I’m also leaving the translators’ team and the HotW Committee. I have removed my roles, but I would like someone to remove my moderator-related roles. You can still reach out to me if you need advice about anything.
