Banner Announcement of the Halloween Avatar Contest

The Halloween Avatar was a competition event for building and submitting a creative Halloween-themed avatar. The contest was announced on September 22th, 2023.

The contest submissions was started on September 23th and ended on October 4th, 2023.

Once the final deadline ends, there was be a voting period by the moderators, and a total of six winners, plus five honorable mentions, were ultimately determined by a panel of KoGaMa Judges and Moderators on the KoGaMa Discord Server. The winners were announced on October 30th.

Contest Description

It’s almost that time of year again - The time of falling leaves, ghost stories, dressing up as monsters and eating candy until you feel sick… Halloween!

And to celebrate, we have two announcements for it:

Prizes

• 1st Place: 1 000 & 1st Place Badge.

• 2nd Place: 500 & 2nd Place Badge.

• 3rd Place: 250 & 3rd Place Badge.

Rules

• Only one submission per user.
• Only new Avatars are allowed.
• You must submit your Avatar in the below form for it to count as a contest entry.
• The Avatar must be submitted between September 23rd and October 4th (Time Zone: GMT+00 London) - We won’t accept any entries submitted before or after these dates.

Judgement Criteria

The judges and the moderators chose their winners based on the following criteria:

Aesthetic

How well does their Avatar represent Halloween or a Halloween costume?

Creativity

How original is their Avatar?

Trivia

• Boxin. became the third user in KoGaMa WWW server history, after 11Net11 and _Mr.e_, to win every contest place badges, after winning a 1st Place at the Vehicle Energy Contest and 3rd Place at the Melee Weapon Customization Contest, both being held in 2023.
