KoGaCards is a KoGaMa card game created by King Kuba, which released on April 22, 2020.
Gameplay[]
In KoGaCards, you collect powerful cards and fight other players in Card Duels! Most Cards can be obtained from Card Packs, each pack costing a certain amount of game coins, amount climbing each pack. Each pack features 6 cards, all with their own attributes, rarities and rolling chances. Cards can be used only in Duels, where the real fight begins. When each side has played their card, the outcome depends on the card's attributes. Here's a list of how a duel could end and why:
- Card with more power wins.
- If cards have the same color, the card with a better color wins.
- How colors work:
- 🔵 is better than 🔴
- 🔴 is better than 🟢
- 🟢 is better than 🔵
- 🟣 and 🟡 are equal
- 🟣 and 🟡 are better than 🔵, 🔴 and 🟢
- Cards with equal power and color have a 50% chance to beat each other. (🟣 and 🟡 are equal, so it works the same way!)
- Card text is important!
- Abilities trigger before combat starts.
- Cards with poisonous always win the combat unless enemy also has poisonous.
(Duels can also end if the time limit of 15s is reached or if the opponent has not played his card, making them lose the match!)
If you win a duel, you can visit a special Reward Room with bonus Coins, Crystals, Cards and more! If you lose a duel, respawn, purchase another pack and try again!
Tournaments[]
Tournament mode is different from normal card duels. Instead of buying a card, you get a hand of cards and you will need to play them in a correct sequence to destroy all of the enemy's cards. Your opponent will always play each card first and always wins when tied. You immediately lose if you 1 of your card loses, and you win if all the opponents card lose.
Knowledge is of most importance in this mode. Knowing what each card does, it's counters and weaknesses gives you an advantage. Tournament mode requires Tier 1 and a gamecoin fee per each tournament!
Other Feats[]
There are more features and optional tasks other than dueling and tournaments! Examples include Achievements, where you can earn extra gamecoins completing various challenges or reaching certain milestones (with a great reward after finishing all of them), Trading Room, where you can trade cards or tokens with players or use tokens on token machines to get extra rewards. Next to it, a Patch Notes room, where you can read the latest changes, and the Collection, featuring all of the cards in the game and some bios/funny quotes surrounding them.

- From now on, players can enter each Tournament stage once per 3 minutes. This was done to make the Tournament feel more special and to stop players interfering with others.

Trivia[]
- KoGaCards has 30 cards, 24 obtained from Packs, 3 from Tournaments, 2 from Codes and 1 through a secret quest.
- From there, 4 Packs, 32 Achievements (+1 final achievement with a great reward) and 3 Tournament stages.
- The longest gap between updates in KoGaCards is 746 days or 2 years and 16 days.
- KoGaCards is set to have regular updates again.
- During 2021, KoGaCards had 2 events, Christmas and Easter Event, all of which lasting a month, both of which included an event card, 6 event achievements and a special spin mechanic. Discord roles were eligible for both the events on the KoGaCards Discord Server.
- The Christmas event was the event that introduced the Coin Token item or the Token mechanic, a tradable reward that when used, rewards 500 coins. It was removed after the event's deadline, but re-added again with the same mechanics and moved to the Trading Room.
- KoGaCards Bundles was a feature that provided free Coins, Crystals or Cards for purchasing the "100% Speed Booster" for 20 gold. It was retired on 20/05/2023 after a cheat surrounding the "Watch an AD" button, allowing for one to simply receive the booster for free by clicking it, receiving it instantly with no advertisement.
- It was replaced with Friend Rewards instead.
