KoGaFriend Recipients - This is a Channel on the Official KoGaMa Discord Server with the publication of users who have received the status of KoGaFriend . It provides a list of users who have received the KoGaFriend badge for their contributions to the community. So far there have been 9 rounds and 93 people have received this badge for their contribution.
General information[]
A KoGaFriend is a designated KoGaMa user who has helped Multiverse and has also contributed greatly to the community by running events, competitions, bug tracking, or other positive impacts. A small Multiverse committee will consider the nominations from the community and recommendations from the developers team. Every person awarded a KoGaFriend badge will be called out as to why they have been selected.
AdmiralFjong used to choose people to receive this badge after he left the development team, now it is done by Discord moderators (taking into account the opinions of the developers).

The KoGaFriend badge is usually given to:
Moderators - Role for volunteer users who keep the server clean. You can view information about the role here.
Content Creator - The role for users who take part in the Content Creators Program, for publishing content on social media such as YouTube, Twitch, or Instagram.
Wiki Admin / Wiki Helper - The role of users who contribute greatly to the development of KoGaMa Wiki.
HotW Committee - Role for members of the Highlights of the Week Committee.
Translator - Role for users who translate KoGaMa to other languages. Translators are sometimes sought on Discord. You can view information about the role here.
Overall, if you are a KoGaMate then you are already making an active contribution to the KoGaMa community and you already have a chance to receive this badge. Although you are more likely to receive the badge by having one of the aforementioned roles, they are not considered a requirement to obtain the badge, as many users have received it before having any other role in the community.
