List of Video of the Week winners

This is the list of users who has won Video of the Week and Video of the Week 2 badges since 2023. Every week a new Highlights of the Week roundup are released to the News page of KoGaMa, alongside with highlight video by KoGaMa's Content Creators.

Background[]

In the past, the badge originally an old idea that was supposed to be added to the Highlights of the Week initiative, as video of the weeks being a part of the program from the beginning. It was later being scrapped by the admins, however, the video of the week would continue being feature in the Highlights of the Week program until it was disconnected on September 30th, 2021 with Highlights of the Week #271.

The badge didn't see the light of day in KoGaMa and was remain unused until September 29th, 2023 when it was officially released and was given to the video of the week winners by Crispy Kirby alongside with it's format return, in celebrate of the Highlights of the Week #300, with TioNostal being the first user to obtain this badge.

On January 19th, 2024, L0rd Bruno 55 was the first user to obtain the Video of the Week badge in Brazil server on Destaques Da Comunidade #364.

On March 1st, 2024, the Video of the Week 2 badge was debuted in WWW server on Highlights of the Week #311, with Pipipukaaa being the first user to obtain this badge.

Later on November 8th, 2024, the Video of the Week 2 was given for the first time in Brazil server on Destaques Da Comunidade #379, with Frango Atirador being the first user to obtain this badge.

Premise[]

The winner video will be selected to be on the next Highlight of the Week, with the video owner would receive the badge on their profile. Members of the video can be also receive the badge too, as long and they're been appeared in the video and being credited in the video description too.

In any case and the video winner is a game trailer, the game / trailer owner would receive this badge.

In order to achieve this badge, you need to submit your video link to the HotW Suggestions#2988 bot through KoGaMa's Discord Server^[1]. If the HotW Committee like your video, they'll send it to the Community Manager for it to feature it as Video Of The Week and will reward you with the badge!
