Logic Tutorial: Simple Day/Night Cycle

Simple Climate Change

This logic will bring you the possibility of changing the weather for the day at night.

To do this logic you need:

• Pulse Cube
• Negate Cube
• Skybox Cube

Steps

1. Pulse Cube and Negate Cube

• Place a Pulse Cube and Negate Cube.

You can find it in the inventory in the advanced logic tab.

• Click with the right mouse button at the Pulse Cube and go to the settings.

The Enabled Time is duration of the night (in seconds).

The Disabled Time is the duration of the day (in seconds).

2. Skybox Cube

Night Preset Example

• Place two Skybox Cubes.

You can find it in the inventory in the logic tab.

• Click with the right mouse button at the Skybox Cube and go to the settings.

• Change the colors to bring you a night theme by one Skybox Cube, and a day time by the other (night example beside).

• Connect the Blue Logic Connector of the Pulse Cube to the Red Logic Connector of the Negate Cube
• Connect the Blue Logic Connector of the Pulse Cube to the Night Skybox Cube
• Connect the Blue Logic Connector of the Negate Cube to the Day Skybox Cube

Explaining

The pulse cube will send energy with intervals to the Skybox Cube and Negate Cube, and thus toggling between the Day skybox and Night Skybox
