Parkour Material Block

Description

Parkour is a standard material which can be used to create games, cube models and avatars. Its special property is that when you press Jump in a vertical face of the block, you'll be pushed back, just like a wall jump. The Parkour Master class skill applies this effect to all surfaces.

Gold Cost

• It costs 25 Gold. (earlier this block cost 150 gold)

Trivia

• This material can be free for the players which bought a Subscription for specified time.
• Some time ago, you could earn XP for the jumping on the block's vertical face. Because of this feature, some older maps actually had ‘XP farms’, with tight vertical tubes filled with parkour blocks. However, this feature was removed at some point, making such farms become obsolete.

History

• On April 6, 2012, developer Michal posted a parkour tutorial on YouTube.
• Parkour was introduced nine days later as part of version 0.7.6 on April 17, 2012.
