The Sword was a pickup weapon that is used for Melee combat. It was debuted on April 2012 and replaced by the Melee Weapon on August 2023.

History

• Developer Michal uploaded a sword testing video to YouTube on April 9th, 2012.
• The sword was implemented as part of version 0.7.6 on April 17th, 2012.
• However, the sword weapon would eventually be replaced by the newly Melee Weapon on August 2nd, 2023 in Friends server and on August 17th, 2023 in both WWW and Brazil servers, thus making the original sword to be unusable in the inventory anymore.
• If you've put it in some game before that update your sword is still there.

Trivia

The sword is currently the only weapon in the game that isn't a gun and uses melee range instead of bullets.
