This tutorial explains and shows how to make a timer using logic.
For this we will need:
- Counting Cube in the amount of 2 pieces
- Pulse Cube in the amount of 1 piece
- Pressure Plate/lever/trigger cube (if you want the timer to activate upon interaction)
Steps[]
- Take two counting cubes (the first one will be for counting minutes, and the second one will be for counting seconds).
- Connect the orange connector of the first cube to the blue connector of the second.
It is important that the checkbox for recalculation is enabled in the parameters of the second cube.
- For example, let's set a timer for 5 minutes: in the first we write the value 4, and in the second the value 60.
- Take a pulse cube, set the "off time" to 0.1, and the "on time" to 1 (we want the timer to be in seconds).
- Connect the blue connector of the pulse cube to the orange connector of the second count cube.
- Take the pressure plate (we chose it) and connect its blue connector to the orange connector of the pulse cube.
And that's it! Our timer with logic is ready!
