The Valentine’s Day Video Contest was a competition event for filming and submitting a creative short video related to a valentine-themed. The contest was announced on January 22th, 2024.

The contest submissions was started on January 22th and ended February 5th.

Once the final deadline ends, there was be a voting period by the moderators, and a total of nine winners, plus two honorable mentions, were ultimately determined by a panel of KoGaMa Judges and Moderators on the KoGaMa Discord Server. The winners were announced on February 13th.

Contest Description

February is soon here, and that means that Valentine’s Day is getting close, too. So, to celebrate, how about a slightly different contest than usual?

This time around, we want you to make a short video in KoGaMa! And in this video, we want to see what “the perfect Valentine’s Day date” is to you: Is it a romantic dinner at home, going out to see a movie or eating at a restaurant, or maybe it’s something completely unexpected? We’d love to see it! Of course, it doesn’t have to be your date if you don’t want to; Perhaps you’re playing wingman and helping your bestie, your parents or somebody else you care about?

You can make the video in any way you wish, like a short movie, a “movie trailer” or whatever else you can think of!

Prizes

• 1st Place: 3 000 & 1st Place Badge.

• 2nd Place: 2 000 & 2nd Place Badge.

• 3rd Place: 1 500 & 3rd Place Badge.

In addition, the contest winners and the honorable mentions will also appear in the Videos category on the front page!

Rules

• IMPORTANT NOTE: You must include a link to your KoGaMa account, be it in the video description or when you submit your entry - This is so that we can confirm that you’re the creator of the video.
• Teams are allowed, but only a maximum of 6 people per team is allowed. And of course, links to the teammates’ accounts must also be submitted.
• The video must be submitted from an online sharing site like Youtube, TikTok, Instagram etc.
• Only new videos are allowed.
• The video must be between 30 seconds and 3 minutes long (Though it’s fine if it’s just a second or two shorter or longer).
• The video must be submitted between January 22nd and February 5th (Time Zone: GMT+00 London) - We won’t accept any entries submitted before or after these dates.

Judgement Criteria

The judges and the moderators chose their winners based on the following criteria:

How creative is their video?
